1st Food

Most babies start with pears or apples.....Not this baby! She started with prunes....You can tell by her face that she enjoyed them, although we are holding off with anymore food until we go to her 4 month appt this week.

VA Visit

Harper got to meet her Great Grandma & Great Grandad in Newport News. We had a fantastic brunch and the baby had her 1st hotel stay.

Rice Cereal

My mom won! I ended up giving Harper rice cereal a few days before her 3 month bday. She is still exclusively breastfed, I'd like to keep nursing 6 months is our goal. It was so funny that she knew exactly what to do with the spoon & now gets a little bowl every night before bed. It has really helped her with sleeping longer at night. I now can get a 5 hour stretch of sleep -- finally!

Harper & Mommy

Jeff had to go back to MD for work, but we stayed in Florida for an additional week and a half visiting with my mom. We spent almost everyday on the beach!

Ollie loves Harper...he was on "clean up" patrol all week & did a very good job at it. Poor baby -- I think she got used to it by the end of the vacation. "Why is this white furry monster in my face?"

We took her pretty far out in the ocean. The water was about 80 degrees so it felt really nice.

Harper's new seat

De De got her a wheely seat for Florida visits. She really liked being able to sit up & started grabbing for her toys. She is now hooked on Sesame Street, as this was her routine every day on our trip.
